Le renard, Kitsune aurait la capacité de se métamorphoser en humain et serait associé à des événements surnaturels. Je pense que ses facultés sont liées au caractère rusé et espiègle du renard 🦊. Je poursuivais d’ailleurs, la réalisation de cette illustration, lorsque qu’une amie s’est faite voler une chaussure. Nous campions dans les dunes portugaises, et il était facile d’en observer au petit matin. Dans la légende japonaise, on pourrait déterminer l’âge d’un kitsune au nombre de queue qu’il possède (jusqu’à 9), et il existerait 13 éléments auxquels chaque kitsune serait associé : feu, terre, océan, montagne, forêt, tonnerre, temps, son, esprit, céleste, ténèbre, rivière, temps ; tous représentés sur l’illustration.

The fox, Kitsune would have the ability to metamorphose into a human and would be associated with supernatural events. I think its faculties are linked to the fox’s cunning and mischievous character 🦊. I was still working on this illustration when a friend of mine had her shoe stolen. We camped in the Portuguese dunes, and it was easy to see them in the early morning. In the Japanese legend, a kitsune age could be determined by how many tail its has (up to 9), and there would be 13 elements to which each kitsune would be associated: fire, land, ocean, mountain, forest, thunder, time, sound, spirit, celestial, darkness, river, time; all shown on the illustration.
